Story
Art Nouveau was founded by our head designer Tushar in summer of 2019 in order to bring the niche art of our local artists & craftsmen to the global forefront.
Tushar spent most of his childhood growing up in textiles as his parents founded slow textile company Tushar Handworks back in 1987 which is dedicated to create sustainable slow textiles for ethical brands outside India.
Art Nouveau was created on a single belief of supporting small businesses by dedicatedly designing line-ups involving handwork of these talented artist families. This step made sure that our craftsmen have work & financial support all year through & in turn we could bring more awareness on sustainability & slow fashion to our community.
